Promoting awareness of insurance law issues since 1994

ILAS is the Singapore chapter of the Association Internationale de Droit des Assurances (AIDA), an international association comprising 50 national associations and 30 Working Parties focused on the development and application of insurance laws.

ILAS hosts seminars and discussions by prominent insurance experts from Singapore, the region and further afield, thereby advancing the knowledge and expertise of insurance law in the Singaporean insurance industry.

We have also played an active role in developments in the local insurance industry, including helping to drive the implementation of Reinsurance Contract Certainty in conjunction with the MAS, GIA, RBAS and SRA.
